Every city is checked by a person before it goes live, and each city page says when. How we rate a district
Why it exists
The wrong district can spoil a short trip
Every listing looks great in the photos, and you only find out what the area is like once you are there. A price that looks like a bargain is usually cheap for a reason, and the reason is never in the listing.
Most advice online is long articles that name ten neighbourhoods and praise all ten. A map with three colours answers the question in a few seconds, because it is willing to say where not to stay.
